A New Chapter for Anna's Website

Hello there! 👋

Back in December 2024, I wrote about the Business Card Website, a small project I used to update my wife’s page. The idea was simple: give her a clean, elegant place on the web. This time, I returned to Anna’s website with more of her story to tell.

Anna is a Product Owner and Business Analyst with a background in software development. That combination deserves room to breathe. The updated page introduces her through the work she does: helping teams understand complicated problems and turn them into clear product decisions. For me, that makes a much more interesting starting point than a job title on its own.

The design follows that idea. A light background, strong blue accents, large typography and generous spacing give the page a calm, structured feel. Beside the introduction, a decision diagram brings user needs, business value, risk and constraints together into a roadmap. It is a visual that actually has something to say about her work, and one of my favorite details on the page.

Further down, the content gives concrete examples of what Anna brings to a team, from prioritizing backlogs and shaping roadmaps to making processes understandable and sharing knowledge with colleagues. Her approach gets its own section too: listen, map, decide and share. I like how that lets visitors get a sense of how she works before they ever get in touch.

There is also space for her qualifications and engineering education, with direct email and LinkedIn links at the end. The page is available in both English and German, and includes a light and dark theme switch. Small details, but useful ones for a personal website that people may visit in different settings.

Updating a website for someone close to you makes the content feel especially important. Every section needs to sound like the person it represents. I am happy to share this new chapter of Anna’s page, and it is a nice continuation of a project that first appeared here almost two years ago.
